Who we are

mark2notion (“we”, “us”) provides an API that converts Markdown to Notion-style blocks.

What we collect

• Email address when you sign up, subscribe, or contact us.
• Payment information is processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not receive or store your full card details.

How we use your information

• To create and manage your account and provide the API.
• To process subscriptions and send essential billing or service messages.
• To respond to support requests.
• To send optional product updates or newsletters that you can opt out of at any time.

We do not sell your personal data or use it for targeted advertising.

Markdown & Notion data

We process your Markdown input to generate Notion-style blocks and deliver the response to your request. We do not store your Markdown or the generated blocks beyond what is necessary to deliver that response.

Payments

Subscriptions are handled by Stripe, which collects and processes payment data in accordance with its own policies. We do not store full card numbers.

Marketing communications

We may send product updates or newsletters using Mailchimp. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by contacting us at hello@mark2notion.com.

Legal bases (EEA/UK)

• Contract: to provide and bill for the service you requested.
• Legitimate interests: to maintain and secure the service and communicate essential updates.
• Consent: for optional communications (you can withdraw at any time).

Data retention

We keep your email address for as long as you have an account, or until you ask us to delete it, unless we must retain it longer to meet legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

Sharing

We may share personal data with service providers that help us run mark2notion (e.g., hosting, payments, email delivery). They process data only on our instructions and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes. Key providers include Stripe (payments) and Mailchimp (email/newsletters).

International transfers

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) provided by our service providers to protect your data.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

Your rights

Children
